The first two headstone markers will be placed at the Custer Bend Snakey Bend Cemetery northeast of Cheyenne, Oklahoma on Tuesday September 17,2013. Those present: Jack Beale Smith, David Miller, members of the Rodger Mills Historical Society, and Robbie Mabra of the Forest Service.

Beale Bridges 1859

Beale bridges 1859

Six bridges were constructed on the Beale Wagon Road in Indian Territory in 1859-1860; Signs are being placed along the Beale Wagon Road in Oklahoma. All the Iron Bridge sites have been located and other historic signs are being placed in the State of Oklahoma.
